- Cassidy is an Irish vampire talking to himself in his car. The Saint of Killers just shot him point blank in the face and then left.
- Cassidy:
- Tell me, Doctor Cassidy: how would you treat a large-caliber gunshot wound resulting in massive tissue and blood loss.
- Also Cassidy (as Dr. Cassidy):
- Well, I would obviously recommend drinking a couple morons' worth of fresh blood and letting the wound heal up by itself... but I would advise that the patient first find that Saint of Killers fucker and drive a pick up truck up the bastard's arse at top-speed
- Cassidy:
- And what purpose would that serve, Doctor?
- "Dr." Cassidy:
- Well, it would first help the patient to feel more positive, a vital step on the road to recovery... and it would also save one Revernd Jesse Custer from from certain death at the hands of said fucker.
- Cassidy:
- But Doctor: Jesse Custer forced the patient to stop drinking that little shitkicker's blood, and then went on to call him an abomination
- "Dr." Cassidy:
- Yes, but careful consideration will reveal that Jesse is not a bad bloke really, and tempers were pretty heated all round. If the patient doesn't help, he knows he'll feel bad for at least a year.
